About Bryan,

I’m Bryan de Villiers, I was born in South Africa, but immigrated to Australia with my family as a 9 month old baby. We moved around Australia for a bit growing up but we settled here in Warrnambool in 2002 and my family fell in love with the town!

I started Holbrook Health and Nutrition because I genuinely love helping people feel better, move better, and perform better whether that’s in the gym, at work, or just in day-to-day life.

I’ve been through it myself, I have worked (and still work) full-time in manufacturing for over a decade, shift work, early starts, long days, leadership roles, and all the challenges that come with trying to stay healthy while juggling a busy schedule. I studied my bachelors degree in Nutrition whilst doing shift work because I wanted to better understand how to manage my own health and now, I use that knowledge to help others do the same.

I’m passionate about supporting local people here in the South West. I know the unique demands of shift work and stressful positions and I understand what it takes to stay consistent with nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being when life is full. My goal is to meet people where they’re at and give them simple, real-world strategies that actually work as well as further their education so that they can make informed choices on their nutrition for the rest of their life.

My special interests include
- Weight loss that’s realistic and sustainable.
- Nutrition for athletic performance.
- Shift work optimisation.
- Leadership wellness.

My interests outside of nutrition include travelling, cooking, the gym, running, watching the Brisbane Lions and just chilling at home with my partner Mary and my black lab Winnie.

Better nutrition for a better life.
